Flax Bourton is a few minutes from us, so it is an easy village for us to cover properly. Most of the work here is in the older stone properties along Main Road and Station Road, and the larger houses set back off the A370 towards Bourton Combe.
Older village houses take a bit longer than a modern build and we price them that way. Flagstone and tiled floors, painted timber, sash windows with deep sills, and kitchens where the extractor has not been touched in a while. We would rather quote honestly for the time it takes than promise a two hour clean that leaves half of it undone.
